Halo 30-Pin Adaptor

Is anyone else having a problem getting the adaptor to fit on the Nook? I have 3 different Halo products, and 3 different Nooks (Color and HD Tablets) and I cannot get the adaptor to go into the slot. It seems to be just a little bit too wide. The new Halo Cube even specifically shows that it's supposed to work with the Nook, and I wanted to be able to have convenient, portable recharging since I use it so often. Is there a trick to using it?
