HP Touchpad stopped charging and won't turn on

Had the Touchpad now for about two weeks. It doesn't keep a full charge for very long and now it won't turn on. The button on the bottom (at the six o'clock position) just blinks twice and stops for a second and blinks twice again going through this cycle over and over. It won't turn on or off by pressing the button on top either.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, otherwise it's going back for a replacement and if that doesn't work, on to the iPad.
