I finally saved up enough to buy my new HP desktop and 15.6" laptop. I received the desktop that I customized to my needs and it needed to be returned. The TV tuner I paid extra for didn't work after spending 3 1/2 hours with their tech support. The audio was terrible unless you had the Beats Audio on.It was very tinny sounding. I didn't replace it when I sent it back.

I received my new laptop with the i7 new 3rd gen Intel processor a few days later. That also had a problem that needed to be replaced. I decided not to replace it as I already had bad luck with these 2 new items.

I will say to return these (total of almost $2800.00) items was an easy process and that part was a good experience. The CS part for trying to repair my new desktop was not a good experience. I couldn't understand them and even with extra help from them I couldn't.

The credit for my desktop was back on my charge card in 4 days. The laptop went back yesterday. The credit back was fast.

I just ordered a new 15.6" Toshiba Satelitte laptop. I own a Toshiba Qosmio laptop and it is great. No problem in two years owning it. I guess I will stay with Toshiba.

Any recent opinions on your experience with HP. I was disappointed as I really researched and ordered exactly what I wanted. I didn't want a brand new item sent in for repairs so therefore went back to Toshiba.
