HELP, PLEASE!! TRAC PHONE SAMSUNG

I am terrible with "technology" when it comes to "CELL PHONES".  I need help transferring apps, etc. to a "NEW" Samsung Trac Phone on QVC.  Anyone that I ask to help me set it up don't even know what it is!...That being said, I know Trac Phone's Customer Service is not the best and that concerns me.  I don't really use the cell phone that much except for some texting and phone calls and I need to learn how to use the "camera".  Any advice?  Is this phone a good phone in the Trac Phone line up?  Thanks y'all!!

@SweetSpice Back in Jan I lost my phone and got another.  I called CS and asked if they could still transfer my phone number and minutes without old phone and they not only did that but everything on my lost one was also made availabale automatically within a day!

@maddie9955    That's how I've always done my transfers.  As far as using the phone, you just have to jump in and practice.  Most people don't have anyone to teach them since all phones are slightly different.

Remember you have to activate the new phone for the transfer to work.  To me, it's easier to do that online rather than calling.

Tracfone can't help you with that.  I've had several Samsung phones and it's always been easy.  However I can never remember how I did it from one time to the next.  I just Google something like "transfer data from one Samsung to another".  You can put the types of phones you're using.  Good luck.

Re: HELP, PLEASE!! TRAC PHONE SAMSUNG

@SweetSpice  If you do not want to deal w/Tracfone CR, you will answers and/or detailed instructions written & video by........

1 - Visiting Tracfone Customer Support website

2 - Read the instructions that came w/the phone

3 - Download the full & complete manual of your model phone

4 - Visit YouTube's tutorial website.  A video is worth MORE then a thousand words.

5 - Download from YouTube "Tips & Tricks" videos for your model phone.

All & all like Kachina624 stated, you need/must play around w/your phone to get to know it & to use it properly since you are a newbie.

As far as using a phone cam....Click on the cam app.   Smiley Wink

@SweetSpice

I recently called Tracfone Customer Service and they resolved an issue I had with a phone pretty quickly, with little wait time.

If you have downloaded the owners manual from your new phone, take 1 step at a time. I assume you have activated the phone. Follow the instructions step by step on how to transfer data from your old Smart Phone to your new one.

Every smart phone I have seen has a "Home" icon, where most of the app icons can be seen. For the camera? Find the camera icon(app) and open it. Some say "picture/video". Want a pix, choose pix, then go through the setting steps you choose.

Like others here have said: "new electronics of all types take time to learn". With each brand/model being different, nobody can give you the exact steps unless they have the exact phone.

Good luck, and now, get with it,
