Hi...
First, I have to sat that I am so bad at all the tech language knowing all
of the different devices available for purchase.
I had an HP PC for years and it finally died.
With that PC, all I ever used it for was to shop and email.
Never pictures or anything else.
I decided to purchase an inexpensive Tablet before investing in another PC
or Laptop because I couldn't decide which I would prefer.
I really like this tablet so I am sticking with it.
Now that I taught myself how to take pictures and videos with the Tablet
I am afraid that I will lose them if this Tablet dies.
I saw in the User's Guide that I would be able to transfer files from another
source to the Tablet using the transfer cable included but nothing on transferring files FROM the TABLET.
I have several pictures and videos in this Tablet of our new Puppy, that's his name,
and don't want to lose them. 💔
I kind of remember that there is some kind of stick that stores files.
Can I buy something like that??
And If so, what is it called ???
And will it save pictures and videos?
Can anyone Help me???
Thank a Bunch !! 🌼

A flashdrive? Also called a thumbdrive. A separate/external hard drive is another option. If you're an Amazon Prime member you can store an unlimited number of photos and video there. Even from your phone or tablet.

If you use Google & have a gmail account all of your pictures get saved. You can log into your account from any device & it will be there.I take photos on my phone & email them to myself.I then open them on my IPAD.

Does your tablet have a memory card slot?

Hi...
Yes, I already figured out how to add an attachment photo and video
to an email and email it to myself. I do have Google and Gmail but I always
email, send the pictures and videos to my email account that I always use.
The problem I am having right now is that SOME ARE THE VIDEOS OF THE "Puppy"
are too long and I can't get them to attach.
I wish I knew that before I made the videos....
SO......
I need someway to save them just in case this Tablet dies......
Thanks.... Kat 💜

Hi...
I just looked in the User Guide and Yes...
The Tablet does have what is called a "Micro TF Memory Card Slot" but there
is nothing explaining that .
There is also something called a "Micro USB Port" which says Connect to power
or use to transfer files.
I would truly appreciate any help you can give me.

If you plug a cord into the micro USB port on the tablet and the USB into a computer, the computer should recognize it and walk you through a transfer.
From the computer they can be put on a disc or a thumb drove. Only way I have accomplished it.
If you no longer have a computer, maybe ask a friend to use theirs for a few minutes.
