Re: Good free Anti-virus protection...

I too have Norton, and happy with them...  Had them for years...

My daughter 3 yrs ago added me to her Norton protection....

Had them take over my pc to fix several issues in the past...

Seems they have updated there protection as i get monthly reports to show me what they have done, and what they fixed...

Do also get periodic showing they have scanned..

Feel very confident that they are protecting my pc...

I am not certain what version of Norton software you have installed in your computer. Norton 360 orTotal Protection clean out junk files from your browsers etc.

I would buy Malwarebytes to clean malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/ . You can try this program before you buy. You still need Norton an antivirus program.

Re: Good free Anti-virus protection...

I've used AVG Free for at least 20 years and never had a problem.

My only problem was the Chrome update and that was not something AVG would monitor.
