        Hi, @Marp!  Sorry to be so slow in responding...  I was away from the forums for a couple of weeks.   I'm using uBlock Origin right now.   I like the reviews, uBlock Origin is said to run more efficiently than Disconnect, and also uBlock Origin actually uses many (maybe all?  not sure how often they update) of the Disconnect filters.   I've read that some people use both but occasionally run into conflicts between the two so I'm going to stick with just the one for the time being.

@dooBdoo, thanks dooB.  Right now I'm trying Disconnect and also using Adblock Plus.  I don't know if it is one or the other but page loading, especially here, seems slower.  On average Disconnect reports 18 blocked items on the forums.

         You're welcome, @Marp!  I suspect Disconnect is slowing things down -- it's one of the reasons people have reported uBlock Origin to be more efficient (performance slowdowns).  Adblock Plus shouldn't be affecting the page loading.

@dooBdoo, I just disabled Disconnect and installed uBlock Origin to try.  I think most of the slowness is really due to specific sites.  The pages start loading quickly but it takes a while to complete.  Q forums are the worst.

I did find Disconnect easier when it comes to settings and seeing what has been blocked.  I'll give uBlock a chance and decide.  More understanding of the options or documentation from uBlock would go a long way.
