Gateway

On the southern channel for today's special they have a Gateway 15.6 " LCD Core i3, 6 GB Ram, 500 GB HDD laptop with Wi/ Di. They are saying it is the lastest technology that is out - just last week introduced. I have tried to compare it to some others online, but cannot find anything to campare it apples to apples. Is it worth the money and is it the lastest technology out? Thanks!
