Gardenman, you were right

I don't know if you remember the problem I was having with my iMac, (it wouldn't come out of hibernation and shutting down unexpectedly) but, I was able to fix it.  I downloaded the latest operatiing system and the problem has stopped.  I also have noticed a much better response time with opening programs and loadiing files both data and photos.  I still need to do a restore but, haven't taken the time.  I'm glad I decided to try this first since I wasn't without my computer and it was free.
