Some recommend Photobucket... I have an account but have not used it often. I have heard some recommend "Snapfish."
We have wedding pictures and they are backed up in several places... but the BEST one (in my opinion) is Dropbox. It is a free service (for a large amount of storage) and there are two storage places... when you install it, "dropbox folder" goes on your computer and "dropbox.com" stores "in the cloud." Make sure you save your pictures to the dropbox.com; once you download the pictures into your computer, the pictures automatically become duplicated and stored at dropbox.com.
I did something with the "camera uploads"folder and dropbox on my computer, which caused some photos to be deleted. Read at the site first to make sure your originals will remain untouched at dropbox.com before deleting files.

PS Delta... a friend I know uses a different "flash drive" for each trip, event, etc and then labels the flashdrive. This seems like a great idea... just know that each flashdrive has limited saves... as long as these pictures will not be edited 3,000 times (forget how many saves), apparently your pictures will be safe.
If you are wanting to share, dropbox does allow you to allow others to share your folders. Again, if one of these "sharers" deletes a picture, for instance, you will also lose the picture.

I like Flickr.
If you're not editing them, though, or resizing them, I don't know if the free places accept huge files, though. That could be old info. I have always resized and edited my pics before I upload them to an online website.

OneDrive is also free.

I like Shutterfly because I can send my photo album via email and the recipient does not need to log in with a Shutterfly account to view them, they just click the link from the email to view the album. I don't like Snapfish because you need to create an account to view the album, at least I did and this was years ago, so I'm not sure if it's changed. I really like Shutterfly.
