In another thread there is a discussion about Apple offering some of their apps for free. I've been doing some investigation and it looks like the iPad 2 TSV will qualify for these free apps.
Any device activated for the first time AFTER September 1, 2013 qualifies for these apps which will be free:
iMovie - make movies from video or photos
iPhoto - edit and organize photos
Pages - word processor
Keynote - presentation program similar to PowerPoint
Numbers - spreadsheet
It seems that once you download these apps on your new device, you can also download them on an older iOS device (iPad, iPhone or iPod) without having to pay for them, by going to the App Store on your older device and accessing 'purchased' apps.
