Are the flash pads really fun for kids or are they just a "flash in the pan" ? I have nieces/nephews from ages 7 to 11 and I'm wondering if this would be a fun gift? I don't want to give them something they play with a few times and then it just collects dust. They do like to play games on the computer, wii, Xbox so will this stack up? Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

This is JMO, but 7-11 year olds who usually play on Wii and XBox would likely be bored by this toy. Perhaps it would appeal more to younger children, though.

LOL I have seen hosts like Antonella and Sharon playing the game and having a wild, good time.

This is just MHO-- but very over hyped sales etc. We purchased this about two years ago when all the host were super excited. Big let down when received. After about 30 minutes we could not believe so many had been sold and we were one of the dummies .

IMO - I can't see this holding the attention of anyone longer than an hour, if that. This would be something that would quickly gather dust in the corner.
