There's an item I'm looking to get with Easy Pay Installments of $106. That's with the shipping and taxes as well. What's the limit for a first the buyer? What kind of "payment history" qualifies for that?

I thought you ordered a TV set and something else. Maybe I got you mixed up with someone else here asking about ""buying/easy pays/shipping"" and a couple other threads.

If that is you? Done a good job of confusing me as to exactly what you do know about online or shopping network buying.

Toni 973, I understand you're new to QVC and new to the community forums. However, since you signed up you've been starting threads and responding on them asking the same questions. You've received numerous replies on the other threads, posters doing their best to help. (I responded to one of them.)

And the bottom line is the same: Please talk with Customer Service if you don't feel the answers on the other threads are helpful. I fear if you continue as you're doing, posters will become frustrated with the repetitious questions.

I wish you well with your new purchases.Smile

Thanks for the replies. I did ask CS about the payment history but the rep said she wasn't sure. Just wondering If any other first time buyers were rejected on their first purchase if it was Easy Pay.

Your posts are getting more and more suspicious.

I don't believe the CS rep wasn't sure. If that was in fact the case you should call back and ask again and ask to speak to a supervisor if that CS rep doesn't know either.

She just said as a first time buyer without payment history it may or not go through. You think they should have a definite answer on that? If so, I'll try calling again.

If you have no credit history, or a bad history, after the order's placed QVC will process their usual checks and it simply will be cancelled if QVC's checks find a problem. That's really all that will happen. And if that occurs, you then can call Customer Service and they'll have an actual scenario to review and explain to you. If QVC finds no problem, the order will process without a glitch. I believe this has already been explained on your other threads, but in case it hasn't I'm adding it here.

I thought credit history doesn't matter? I'll be paying with a debit card linked to my checking account. The CS rep said once the order is placed they just verify the money is in the account and put a hold on the first installment until the item shipped. She said there's no credit check unless you apply for a Q Card.

Well, then, you got your answer from Customer Service. So why do you keep starting all these threads and asking the same questions? If you feel secure about your financial situation, place your orders and let the process work. And as I said, if there's a problem you then can call Customer Service and they'll have an actual scenario to review and explain to you.
