Firefox 12 uninstall

Firefox 12 installed on my computer and now I can't use it. I can get the home page but no web pages. Is there any way I can go back to the previous one and take it out? Do I have to take out the whole thing and if I do would all my bookmarks disappear? I really don't use anything else but firefox so everything is on that.
