I've procrastinated long enough. The desktop we have now is several years old and is barely crawling. I've run scans and deleted unused stuff from start up and done everything I know how to do and it won't speed up. It's been a good desktop, but it's time.
So, I'm definitely getting an iMac, but I've been going back and forth for months on whether to get the 21 inch or the 27 inch. I'm still going back and forth. I've been to the Apple store several times so I know what they look like. In my mind I think the 21 is too small, but I'm afraid the 27 inch will overwhelm our desk. If it came in a 23 or 24 inch, that's what I'd get.
I'd appreciate opinions from iMac owners. Do you have the 21 and wish you'd gone with the 27 or vice versa or are you thrilled with the size you got?
Also, are any of you running Office for Mac? I work from home part time and I work with Excel (basic spreadsheets) and Word, but on Word, it's mostly just forwarding Word docs that my office creates and sends to me.
Along with this we'll need a new printer with wireless capabilities. Can someone explain "air print" to me? What exactly is that and I assume I need to get a printer with that capability so I can also print from my ipad? And I guess I need to check to see if my router, which is fairly new, is capable of all that.
Thanks in advance.
