@Mistreatedbycs  I am not opening them, they are a text message, the photo opens automatically.

I never open a message that I do not recognize.

That's crazy, on my phone I just get a list of my messages of who sent them, nothing opens not even pics until I click on it.

I'm sorry maybe @gardenman  he knows alot regarding computer issues.

My phone messages are the same.  I see a list of  people who have sent text messages.

@Mom2Dogs

About a year ago, I got either an email or message (forgotten the details) which advised over a porn picture that there were more included.  It seems that the sender sent it to my telephone number with the number repeated but increased by one number on the last digit.

Some told me the sender was using a Verizon app that permitted a sender to send the same communication to a series of telephone numbers,   XXX-XXX-XXX0, - XXX1,-XXX2, etc,   I basically had to go in and block every number.

I had actually called one of the numbers to tell them not to send me any more stuff but the woman who answered was just as upset as I was and thought I was sending her this stuff.

It was extremely upsetting !  I hope this half-remembered info has been of some help.

I saw the message on my Mac Book air before I saw it on my phone.  I'll check phone first next time, maybe the photo is not showing up on the phone unless I open it...but I still need to block the address, which keeps changing.

You can filter your messages into a Known Number list and Unknown list.  At least that way you can see your contacts at a glance.  And all the unknown/unwanted will be together and easier to delete too.

There also is a number you can send the messages to which report it as spam if you are with one of the large carriers.  The article I read was a few years old so I don't know if it still applies.

@Mom2Dogs

Also, if you have one of the larger carriers they may have a way to block spam texts from email. You might want to contact them.

There are also third-party apps that can help.

I just read that spam texts from email addresses are all the rage now.  And they're difficult to stop, other than to block each one individually.

I hope so too!  I tend to get a few all at once and then don't get any more for long periods.  Never had porn though.🙈

I would think that if this is truly pornography your carrier would be very interested to know about it.  I  sure you're not the only one getting them.

For emails only. You have to mark it as SPAM when it comes in your email. Send it to the SPAM folder so your email provider recognizes it as SPAM. If you delete rwithout doing this you will just keep on getting it.

I don't know what you can do if it's a text message. You can call your provider and discuss what to do.
