I would like to purchase to use with my Samsung phone (android compatible).

I cannot for the life of me remember the brand name of the one I got. For Christmas, I got a friends daughter a wireless Bluetooth speaker from Costco. It was around $50. The nice thing about it was that it was portable, and also waterproof. Thought this would be good for her of she wanted to take it with her to an outside party of something. The sound is the best I have heard. Even better than my Bose that I spent a heck of a lot more for. If I can find the brand name I'll come back to post. It was a name that I had never heard of before, not a big name.

Thanks lynn, I will check Costco. They have great products and prices. We love our tv and sound bar from there. I can play via our sound bar in house but want a small (with clear sound)for the outside; camping, gardening, beach. Nutmeg, we got a Bose from my husbands work and gave it to our son for gift. He loves it for his iphone, charges it also.

I just looked for it on amazon. The Costco website didn't have it listed, but I bought mine at the store. Maybe it is an in store only item? On amazon it's selling for $93. It's called ECOXGEAR. I think this speaker would be fabulous for you if you took it camping. It's a rugged looking speaker. But like I said, best sound I have heard, especially from something that was about $50.

I love my Jawbone Jambox! I rec'd it last year as a gift and you may want to look into this.. The sound is great and it's small enought to travel with too
