Hi, DianeInTx! If the iOS version is the same on both devices, compare your Safari settings on the two to see if they match.

Also, the first two things that come to mind:

1 -- In Settings--->Safari, look at "Block Cookies" and be sure it isn't set to "Always."

2 -- Make sure you haven't enabled "Private browsing" in Safari. Here's an article that shows you how to check if you're not familiar with it:

Oops! Just thought of one other thing:

When you login to Facebook in Safari on your iPad, be sure to check "Keep me logged in." (It's in small print under your login info.)

I will check on that when I get home.

I alway check that ""keep me logged in"" box and no matter how many times I check it it never does
