Easiest Cameras to Use

What is the easiest good quality digital camera to use? I was watching and saw the Kodak easy share touchscreen and it looked good, but the reviews on Amazon were conflicting, I don't have an I-phone, so I would love to have a camera that can take movies and that has a zoom and clear pictures that you don't always have to adjust, that I could take sharp pictures of my grandchildren. I have a small Sony now, but it is 8 years old and I believe it is not taking the best pictures and doesn't have any of the above features. At least I still have not learned how to use the other features as it is complicated. Suggestions please?????
