Does anyone own a HP and have had it for years? They only offer a 1 year warranty and the fact that it is made in China in a concern. All electronic products from China are throw away after a few months.

This is a 2.6 GHzAMD Phenom II dual-core mobile processor P650 vs. Intel Core i3 or i5. They said they are made by 2 different manufactures? Which one is the best?

I talked to HP support and this item is no longer made. It was BRAND NEW on 3/6/11 on Q. This is a lot of money for me to spend so I want to make sure I'm getting a laptop that will last a long time.

What is your opinion on this laptop? It ships out on 3/9 so I have to decide by today or tomorrow. Thanks for your help.
