I need to update my Norton antivirus in 30 days but don't like that they don't have disks anymore. I remember last year downloading it and I ran into issues. I bought the program at Staples and followed the guide. I feel better buying it in cash instead of purchasing it online.
I think I had to call my computer guy to help me with the download last time.
Does anyone have any tips to make the process go more smoothly?
Remember the good old days when we didn't have to buy all this tech stuff like modems, anti-virus, minutes for phones? It's so costly to be technically up-to-date.

Many people use Avast or AVG. You could pair one of these programs with
a paid copy of Malwarebytes.

You need to uninstall your Norton software. Please check the company's site for a how to.
