My Alexa came on during the night and the light woke me up but she didn't talk.  Hope this doesn't happen very often.   I really enjoy 'playing' with Alexa!  Love the 'turn on the XXX light' feature.

We loved Alexa and got one of the very first ones.  But she started babbling and coming on unexpectedly and we unplugged both of them and the dots.  We're done with them.  You don't know what they are doing.

I would be creeped out if that happened.  I turned the echo off and it hasn't come back on.  The ring stays red.

It didn't creep me out or frighten me because when I woke up....the circle of light on Alexa was on....so I knew immediately what it was

Now if she had started talking???  That might have been a different story!

I upgraded my Sirius/XM subscription yesterday to include streaming so that I can listen on my Echo.  I really like Sirius/XM but I'm not in the car enough so now I can justify the subscription for another year.

Honestly, I think if you keep them on the phone long enough, they will eventually pay you to listen.
