Dell Laptop Fan Noise

Bought my son a TSV Dell Laptop in December. Ended up having to get a new motherboard. Dell technician came to house and put new motherboard in . Ever since the fan is really noisy and you can feel cool air blowingfrom the fan, Any way to stop the noise. It wasn't like that before. It's the Inspiron 17R Windows 8.
