Dell 17.3" Intel Core i5 Notebook - Service Contract?

I purchased last week's TSV, the Dell 17.3" notebook computer. No one has mentioned the service contract they were offering with it. Has anyone purchased it? Is it a good deal? I'm trying to make a decision.
