Tell Siri to delete or remove the contact and email address.

Since I nothing but time on my hands, after the latest update, I have done my best to kill her.  Think I have succeeded.  Just me.

@SharkE  If you are using Mail as your email client.......

Delete old email addresses

Mail keeps a list of your previous recipients and uses it to suggest or complete addresses for you when you send email. You can delete obsolete or incorrect addresses from the list in Mail, and use the list to quickly see or add people to the Contacts app.

  1. In Mail, choose Window > Previous Recipients.

  2. Do any of the following:

    • Sort the list: Click a column header.

    • Search for a name: Enter the name in the search field.

    • Remove a name from the list: Select one or more names, then click Remove From List.

    • Show a name in Contacts: Double-click any name that’s preceded by a card icon.

    • Add a name to Contacts: Select a name, then click Add to Contacts.

Tip: If you use Smart Addresses, you can remove a recipient from the list when you address a message by clicking the arrow in the address.

If you use iCloud Contacts, your Previous Recipients list is available on your other Mac computers (with OS X v10.8 or later) and iOS devices (with iOS 6 or later) that have iCloud Contacts turned on.

If you are NOT using Mail please advise which email client you are using.

How to Turn Off Siri on Mac

Disabling Siri on the Mac is easily achieved through a settings adjustment:

  1. Go to the  Apple menu and choose “System Preferences”
  2. Choose “Siri” from the control panel options
  3. Uncheck the box next to “Enable Siri”
  4. Close System Preferences

Disable Siri on Mac

With Siri disabled, the menu bar icon is removed, the Dock icon is hidden, the Touch Bar icon is removed (if applicable to your Mac), and the Siri service is completely turned off and unable to activate for any reason.

Yep, got the Siri disabled. Got gmail.

That first thing gets rid of  the email, but, then, it says the actual name of  the person and their email after that and says "siri found this in apps"

I don't want Siri poking around in my apps in the first  place. if she found it wonder how I can get her to unfind it. LOL

siri is disabled she shouldn't  be working, period.
