I have, since July, been trying to get AT&T to remove and credit me for long distance services that I never requested. I have not had a long distance carrier on my land line for years as I use my T-Mobile cell for all long distance. In July they started to charge me for long distance which finally got removed in October. But they have not credited my account, they even had the nerve to charge me a fee for a change in long distance carrier. Each time I call they tell me they will put the amount in dispute. In September I was told it would take about 7-10 days to resolve, the person today told me it could take as long as 90 days.
Anyone have this problem with AT&T and how did you get it resolved? I have a call into a law firm now that has a class action lawsuit against ATT for cramming and slamming and waiting to hear what they have to say.
It isn't a lot of money but if they are doing this to thousands of people they are making a bundle. I am working on how to dump them now.
Thanks for any suggestions.
