Considering Buying a Wii Console...

Hello everyone. I'm considering buying a Wii and I have a few questions. Is the Wii wifi ready or do I need one of those stick things (don't know what they're called, sorry) and if so, can I streem movies from Netflix to the Wii? Q has one on easy pay at a great price and I'm really considering it. If any of you have one, I'd love to hear what you think of it...Thanks in advance!!
