Computer help

I had my hotmail hacked into last week and I am now blocked from Hotmail.

I have been trying to get back in but nothing is working. My daughter in another town

set up a new password for me and she can get into my account but I still can't. Can anybody answer

why this is? I know very little about computers . Thanks for any help you can give me
