I got messages from friends that I was sending out messages. I even got one. I changed my password immediately. However something still did not seem right. I called a friend who gave me a phone number associated with AOL. I called and they took over the computer and cleared the problems (I was told I was 60% taken over and was now safe). I was charged big bucks for this. Now I am siting back and wondering if I was taken by AOL or an associate. I just was so rattled since we are going on a short vacation and I didn't want to give up my life savings to an offshore bunch of hackers. I wonder if I was a victim of the company who saved me. Anyone have any take on this. I think it was called Itech.
