I need recommendations for small/light portable phone charger. I had purchased (from QVC) a Halo awhile back, that was perfect. I loaned it to my son, who of course didn't return it. NOW, Qvc no longer sells the same kind & reviews on their current items are all low. I ordered another type from Amazon, it was the perfect size, but would not hold a charge, immediately on receiving. THEN ordered 1 from WalMart & when it arrived, the thing was huge & heavy, not at all what I wanted (a hassle to return that 1). Please can anyone recommend anything??

@TX-starlight Check out InstaCharge products on HSN. They usually have a good assortment and prices this time of year. I gave an Insta-Charge unit as a gift last year and the recipient has been pleased with it.

does it need to be from the Q?
if not there are many out there, I would go to TJ or Marshalls and look at their tech section

i have both halos and instacharges.
i buy them by the bushel (LOL, not really, but mine always seem to disappear or get "stolen.")
just a warning.......the instacharges are NOT lightweight if that is what you need.
i also have a "thinium" from qvc and that works very well also. it is lightweight and has a slim design that can easily stay attached to your phone while you are using it.

they are some of the heaviest chargers i have owned or felt ( i am referring to the 4 pack of 7500mah chargers on hsn).....i dont consider a half pound charger lightweight at all, but i guess it is all relative.....one persons heavy is another persons lightweight. the halo cylinder chargers and the thinium are much more lightweight.

and the 4-pk i'm referring to is the 4600 mah chargers on hsn, completely different from your 1/2-lb charger...you're right, it's all relative.

@TX-starlight: Last month, I bought my son a 2-charger set from QVC, item #: E227724. He was taking a long trip, & I wanted to make sure he had a good charger. He picked it out. It was very reasonable, & it's worked well. HTH.
