Canceled a Laptop, Ordered a Laptop?

Here is my story lol. I'm a first time QVC shopper and orderd a Dell Laptop on 2/4 it now being the 14th I contacted CS with no update on my order. CS said it ships from vendor and could take 17 days to ship. Not wainting to wait till 3/8 eta I decided to cancel. I still needed a laptop for school so I decided to look for one with faster shipping. I come across the HP g62 and w/ UPS Premium it gives me a eta of 2/16. 2 days from order to delivery sounds iffy. I'm curios if HP ships from the warhouse or from HP itslef? Will I actully get it on 2/16 or even by the end of the week. If HP ships (3hrs from my house) then it might be possible, but if QVC ships I could be waiting till March?

What are you thoughts on the likelyhood of recieving it on the eta date? Any experience on delivery times with HP orders?
