Can't open AOL email with IE but can with GoogleChrome..help!

I am not able to open my AOL inbox or read email on my laptop with Internet Explorer today...yesterday it was fine...i can with Google Chrome...but I rarely use that...when I click on the inbox, sent or trash they become highlighted in blue and there's a triangle with an arrow in it...can any one give me ideas to try to fix this?..thanks...I can check my other emails with IE with no problem ( ie yahoo, hotmail)
