There is a website I go to often (a pet adoption service) and I've tried to open it for the past 2 days unsuccessfully. I sent a message to them through Facebook and they said they are not having any problems with their website.
My computer knowledge is very, very limited. Do you have any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this problem.
I did try the following:
*disconnect and reconnect my router for Internet service.
*cleared browser cache.
As I said previously, my knowledge of computers in so very, very limited. Do you have any easy suggestions that I would understand how to do that may help me with this probelm?
Thank you!

Can you open it on another device like your phone? Is your antivirus software blocking it? Did you block it accidentally?

@Tori3569 , I've tried it on my phone, my Chromebook and my computer and no luck on any of them.
The message I get is that "this site cannot be reached". Do you think I would get that message if it did get accidently blocked or would it say something like "this is a blocked website"?
Thank you!!!!

@BunSnoop. If all else fails, call your internet provider.

I would start with powering down, totally shutting off your device for awhile. I doubt that's the solution but I think it's a good thing to do occasionally.
Are you reaching the website through a bookmark? Delete the bookmark.
Have you tried using a different browser? I once used an android device that was finicky about which browser to use with different sites.
Do a google search to see if others are having the same problem and how they resolved it.

I agree with @Etoile308 about not using a bookmark to get there if you are.
If you blocked the site, you wouldn't necessarily get an error message. It's possible the site blocked you, but that doesn't sound likely if it's a rescue site.
Assuming you're not using a VPN, it may be an update to the site that's not matching up with your settings. That's the only other thing I can think of. I know you said you asked them, but there is probably something up with the site.

Some of you ladies on the Forum are sooooo helpful. I can't help BunSnoop with the problem, but I just appreciate those of you who try. I have found this Forum to be so helpful when I DO have a problem. THANK YOU to each of you who try to help, whatever the problem is. I find it very touching. 💖

@spent2much , yes - everyone has always been so very helpful on this site whenever I've asked for assistance with a problem and it's always so much appreciated. It's so nice to be able to have somewhere to go to ask people for assistance with everyday problems and they're always so sincere in trying to help. So far, I have not yet solved my problem, but I do much appreciate everyone's help!

What browser are you using? If you are using Safari that most likely is the problem.

Did you try a different browser?
