We purchased two LG Premier Android phones. Mine came quickly and transferred my old number within one minute. I added APPS and my battery life is very good.
My husbands came later. Yesterday we set up then tried to activate. It would NOT activate. 24 hours later we call Tracfone and got transferred three times to different supervisors etc. They just couldn't get it that this phone has problems and drains the battery without any added apps. They kept trying to tell me it's because it's trying to activate. WELL, my phone would show four bars and his would show two sitting next to one another. Obviously, it would not pick up the signal correctly.
Not until I explained to them that QVC allows us to return an item even if we don't like the color, did they understand I meant business. So be prepared. Tracfone its not always easy. And they want to talk to you to keep something you don't want.
We're going to try another LG Premier but not transfer my husband's old number and see if that makes a difference. It's sad because my phone is great. Maybe having two phones, one for back up will be good for tornado country. LOL If we had not had a Premier that was working perfectly, we may have bought into their excuses since we wouldn't see the difference in performance of signal, battery, and activation. So just be cautious and stick to your guns if we want to return it.
QUITE FRANKLY, Tracfone needs a dedicated customer service phone line just for QVC shoppers. The return policies for QVC do not match up with Tracfone and some of their operators JUST DON'T GET IT.

Thats a drag. I've been with Tracfone for probably 5 or 6 years and have had at least that many new phones of different brands and the one LG phone I had, did the very same thing. I had to call several times for help and finally---I just sent the stupid phone back to the Q or H#sn, wherever I bought it from, got my $ back and kept the minutes as they couldn't subtract that for some reason. . I have had 2 Motorolas, and Samsung and can't remember the other brand plus the LG. Now I have the Samsung Grand Prime from the Q as it was the TSV a few months ago, and have had no problems at all. The phone is awesome too.

Have had the opportunity to need Samsung customer support? Support is everything when goes bad. This is the first time we've had problems. Usually they are great even sent my husband and upgraded phone a while back because they would not longer service the old phone. So this mess really floored us. My LG Premier so far is great. Didn't expect this problem. LOL Hey went the phone keeps telling you to go outside or near a window you KNOW something is wrong.

I have bought several Tracfones over the years and they are great phones - won't have anything else. I have purchased from either the Q or HSN because you get the 1350 triple minutes. There usually is an issue trying to activate them. Never fails. But last time I purchased from HSN and called them with my frustration when I couldn't get anyone to fix the problem. The customer service rep took my information, said she would call them, and within 15 minutes my phone was activitated. Their customer service is awesome! I will always purchase my Tracfones from them in the future.

I'm glad your experience was like that. Ours wasn't on the second phone. We're sending it back defective. The battery drained much faster than mine and I added several apps. My husband added nothing. So something is going on with the particular phone. At least I won't panic and just give up on Tracfone completely if I could get service like you did.
I still think that the Q does so much business with them they should have a dedicated line for those who get the 30-day return policy.

We have been Tracfone customers for over 10 years and rarely had a problem, but if we did, we called their USA #, no language barriers!

I have a Tracfone I got from HSN in April. I've been locked out of it; impossible to sign in. Never made or received a call on it. Finally called Tracfone last week, spent 40 minutes with a woman who didn't know what she was doing but finally brilliantly concluded there was something wrong with the phone. She sent me a FedEx envelope to return it and they're going to send me a new one.

Sorry you had issues. I've activated ten tracfones. I had issues twice, but it turned out I skipped a step in the activation process.
