I'm glad you were able to at least address the privacy settings.  Don't be too discouraged about the Solitaire.  Keep checking.  I'm sure the developer will make it compatible again soon, @chickenbutt.  Darn MS....Sure...Take away the Solitaire and add in apps you could care less about.  Sigh.Woman WinkHeart

Howdy, Gokat!  Smiley Happy   *sigh*      There is some ridiculous version of regular solitaire on Win10 but it is so lame.   In addition to the fact that you cannot change the front of the cards to something that doesn't make your eyeballs bleed, there are a lot of choices gone.  I tried really hard to like it.

I was so happy when I got the old one on there, only to have it taken away a few days later by the anniversary update from you-know-where.

Oh well.  Yeah, I'm going to keep checking.  The good thing is that I'm not the only one complaining so I suspect that these guys who are so intricately adept with programming stuff will come up with something.

Meanwhile, I'm back to spending more time on one of my older computers with Win8.1 and everything the way I like it.  Smiley Happy   I guess I'm just glad that that update didn't skrew up MORE stuff!

Gokat - good news!    This guy figured it out and I got the Win7 games back on.  Yay! Smiley Happy     I just installed just the one I want (you can still customize it and install all the games or whichever ones you want) and it seems to be working brilliantly.    Chicky REALLY happy now!  Smiley Happy   (now, if they just don't mess it up again over at Microsoft)

I got a chance to look at this laptop and see it is bundled with a printer. I have a printer I'm happy with and would rather spend the money just on a laptop. I guess the search goes on.

I am going through this right now also...I feel your pain. Don't know what to purchase. I have a HP that is 7 years old and my storage is full so want to purchase another laptop so I can download family videos without saying no space available. If you find a computer...let us know what you liked and didn't like.

I hope you have a backup of all your important files.

Are you serious?  Make a backup or at the very least, copy your photos and other data to the cloud, an external hard drive or burn to DVDs.   Once that is done, delete the photos and other data off your hard drive.  Run a defrag and you should have recovered a lot of hard drive space.

Never have only one copy of anything you can't afford to lose.
