Braven speakers vs. iHome ROBO?

I posted w/in the text of a TSV thread but no responses so reposting here in case anyone sees it and has info: Does anyone know the difference between the Braven speakers and the little iHome Robos?...besides the novelty of the little robot looking speaker...in how they work/function with other electronics? Also I don't see battery life listed in the ROBO description or questions section; anyone have one and know battery life? I have two of the Robos on order for gifts, and only saw a bit of the Braven presentation; I know it's bluetooth and a whole lot more money so I guess it's more powerful? Any input from those who might know is appreciated. Tks.
