After all of the hype last Sunday, I received the Wava Music System. Am happy playing CD and listening to the radio. Great sound and great product. However, I received Alexa from Amazon and it took forever for me to get it connected to my Wi-Fi. Now I am getting a notification saying that it has to be connected to an external speaker. Isn't that what the AUX plug in is for? I ramped up the volume to 99 and it is still hard to hear Alexa. Also, the videos do not work anymore so I can't go back to review the presentations. Has anyone else had any problems?

Thanks for responding. Let me know how you make out using the Alexa app. BTW, QVC said the Alexa Input value was $34.00. It is listed on Amazon at $19.99. I got it for free using the codes that came with the Bose System.

I might suggest you call the Bose CS number - I understand that Alexa is an accessory product of a different brand, but they may be able to help.
They were most helpful when I needed them in the past.

Why are there no reviews for this particular product on the website? Could it be because purchasers have yet to receive all components of the offer? Based on what I have read to-date on the forums I am this close to returning the one I purchased. (Nevermind I really didn't need it in the first place, but that's another issue.)

The whole process has been frustrating. There wasn't a voucher for the Amazon Echo device in the box, as described during the presentation. We received the voucher days later and needed to WAIT AGAIN for Echo to arrive. Why the voucher needed to be shipped separately and the code could not be emailed instead of mailed in a package are mysteries to me. I wonder if QVC is getting a kickback from Amazon?
We had sound problems too, could barely hear Alexa.I think my husband said the jack needed to be pushed in farther and that seemed to help a bit.
Also, the Echo is always on, but the Bose automatically shuts off after awhile. You can speak to Alexa, but you cannot hear the response, unless you turn on the Bose and make sure AUX is selected EVERY time. (Although, I haven't tried having a continual conversation with Alexa, maybe then the Bose would say on and not shut off.)
We have not been able to pair to Apple music. Does anyone know how to do that? The product page has been wiped clean and there are no questions/ reviews to check for tips.
I don't want to devote so much effort in to getting this to work. I feel I was promised sunshine and rainbows, but all I got was an expensive clock radio.

Less than 30 days? Return it. I am into electronics, have set up over 100 home theater systems. From what you've said here, I have no clue what you want from all these peripherals. Be it singularly or working in concert with each other.
Sorry, best I got for your 1st post here. Maybe @gardenman or someone familiar with apple can figure out what you said.

I didn't see the presentation last Sunday, but the Bose Wave Soundtouch System IV is listed on Amazon and should work with Echo. Now you can connect your Echo in three (I believe) ways. You can use a patch cable, bluetooth, or Wi-Fi. If one way isn't giving you the results you want, you could try another. Also remember that both devices have volume controls. If the sound on your Echo is turned way down, your Bose won't be very loud. Bluetooth would likely be my preferred connection method if they were reasonably close to one another. Amazon has a Q&A section with the Bose where Bose spokespeople reply to questions, so that could be a good option if you are having issues. Good luck!

I agree with Hckynut. I'd return it while you can. It seems that it has turned out to be more trouble than it is worth.

I like Bose products, but would send this back. If you want to. Play Apple Music you need a smartphone and Bluetooth speaker.
This combination is a little strange.
