Bose TSV--a question for electronic experts pleasae

I am sorely uninformed when it comes to things electronic--so I suspect this is a stupid question---but if someone could help I'd appreciate it.

The Bose Soundlink--either the TSV or the SoundlinkII from Bose---do they work with ipods? I know it says a Bluetooth device so I am thinking that's a iphone or ipad---but not an ipod? Can someone please educate me? Thanks!
