Is there any way it can be fixed or replaced?

Call Apple. They have a person who can help you.

Google it.
You'll get a bunch of links to user forums and You Tube videos that will try to help you fix it yourself.

@gadgetgal613 I doubt that it is broken. Maybe someone turned it off by mistake. Sometimes I turn it off when I don't want it to connect to something, and it connects anyway.
You can try going into System Settings, and you will see "Bluetooth" in the left column. Click on that.
Go to the right column and make sure bluetooth is on, which if it is, it will look like this .
If it is off, it looks like this
If it looks like the second picture, click on the dark greige area, and it will go back on. It will shift the white ball and show blue color like the middle image.
If it is on and not working, you can call Apple at (800) MYAPPLE‬ and someone will help you. They will ask for the serial number, which you can find by clicking the apple on the upper left hand, "About this mac", and then help you. You may be on hold for a while.
Good luck!

They can't help you? I call them all the time. Sometimes you get someone who is useless, I then ask for a senior advisor.
Try again and get answers. Of course they could say go to an Apple service provider. Try again and find someone who can help you.

@gadgetgal613 , I just updated my iPhone to 17 and my Bluetooth does not work either. I am not happy about this update mainly because I am going out of country and don't have time to play with this now. Grrrr.

I was able to fix it. I removed all bluetooth devices, it saw the mouse and reconnected. Why that didn't work yesterday is a mystery. Oh well, it's back and I can use the computer again. The touchpad and me don't get along.
