You may get an unsolicited phone call from someone who says Microsoft, Dell, whoever has asked him to call you to help you fix your computer. My advice is hang up immediately, then go to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm?sid=d1e37&id=d1e53 and file a complaint with the FCC.
If, however, you stay on the phone with this scammer long enough, he will direct you to RUN: Eventvwr on your computer (assuming you will be able to understand his heavy East Indian accent). DO NOT DO THIS. Opening Eventvwr with him on the telephone will give him remote access to files you don't want to share!
