Best online backup system

I have windows xp and have just cancelled SOS online backup system. Looking for something that saves data to the cloud or some safe offline place.

There are freebies that give 5GB of storage but how do I know how much storage that is? I don't have tons of photos. Mostly just files, emails, etc. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
