Hi everyone. Is it my computer, or is anyone else having Facebook issues yesterday and today? I get reels at the top, then one group post, then blank blocks where the next posts should be. There is a little blinking like it's trying to load but nothing does appear. My mail and the forums here are fine. Can anyone shed some light, or know how I can fix it? I am helpless with tech so if you can help, please explain like I am a two year old! Thanks so much.

I haven't had any problems with Facebook.

Try re starting your computer

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

Re: Beauty, QVC and Facebook

Thanks, maybe it is me then.

I have restarted my computer, a number of times over the last two days. Doesn't help. We did lose internet Friday due to a pole being hit, but the next day everything was fine. Please keep any ideas coming. Thanks.

Ok I got it to work for now, thanks for the suggestions! I did shut it yet again and when I turned it back, it wanted me to upgrade to Windows 11 which I declined. May upgrade at some point but afraid of what I don't know. What seemed to work is I hit a different Facebook from the one I was using (not sure what to call that).

Spoke too soon. It's not loading again.

@Desi  - Maybe put your question in the Electronics forum.  Lots of techy people there that might be able to help you.

Your choice of course, but updates are not as unstable as they were a few years ago.  If you don't update when the update for a device or operating system asks, you may have issues with various websites or apps.  Most websites update very quickly now so you will lose some functionality if you're still using an older operating system.   Again, your choice, but that's what's probably happening.

Thanks, I may do that. That would be where I posted except I know from experience I get more replies in "beauty" than any of the other forums.

Re: Beauty, QVC and Facebook

I appreciate the info. I was wondering if Windows has the ability to mess with what I am doing to "encourage" my move. Yes I worry about how user friendly I will find 11 and whether I will lose access to the stuff I do on 10. I don't do much really but I hate change.

I'm not sure what you mean by "encouraging your move", but google windows 11 and look at some pictures or read about it.
