glb613: I already had someone remove Intel - Storage - Intel(R) ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller (released in June, 2011), but I'm still having problems. I played a Lisa Robertson/Bethany video and watched the seconds count down. It was exactly every 30 seconds that there was a buzzing sound noise. I need to get someone to help me do a system restore prior to April 12, when the optional Windows updates were run (including the one above). However, I had TechGenie installed on my PC the same time (which I paid for), so I'd need to get that reinstalled. I'm going to see if I can get someone to help me take care of this. Otherwise, I'll just have to live with the buzzing every 30 seconds.

I only have this problem with QVC Live. Not with HS_, or any of the other shopping live videos. Ever since they changed over to whatever a year or so ago. I've tried everything, and everyone I've asked said that it must be the QVC technical that isn't completely geared into everything, whatever.

p.s. No buzzing, just stopping and starting. I often have to shut down the video and click play all over again. I figure that if it's fine with the other home shopping live feeds, then it must be QVC who hasn't updated their live feed.

I'd never live with buzzing every 30 seconds. There is nothing to doing system restore. Open the utility, pick a date prior to your problem then OK. If you downloaded TechGenie, there should be a file on your hard drive to save. You will need the activation number if required.

ROMARY: Unfortunately, I have this problem with QVC and with any audio or video that I try to play from my laptop, including periodic loud buzzing when I play Solitaire.
