I'm waiting for the quad core tablets to come out and I know that Asus has already released their quad core tablet; however, at Best Buy recently, I played around with an Acer Iconia, and fell in love with. I want to know which brand is better; Acer or Asus? I'm new to Android and just know that the Acer's smoothness was almost compatible to my iPhone. I have the Thrive and it's defective so I have to send it back, although I like it, but the Acer blew me away and was so much smoother. I didn't get to play with the Asus because it was locked. Note they were both dual core using Honeycomb. I'm not sure if I should wait for Acer to come out with their's. What do you think? Thanks for your help.

Note: I'm looking for a laptop replacement and I like that these tablets have the usb, hdmi ports. Also, I need to be able to create and edit Word/Excel/PowerPoint documents for the classes I teach. If I'm correct, it sounds like they have apps that will allow me to do that.
