Asus laptop review

To date the Asus laptop and netbooks have been the worse computer we have EVER purchased. Soooo disappointed.

The batteries are the worse. We purchase 3 within a short time - one for us 2 for gifts. Our Asus battery died completely 4 months after purchase. The warranty on the battery is 3 months. I immediately contacted those we purchased Asus for and of COURSE the one was 3 months and about a week old and was having the same problem. Later the 3rd unit also suffered the same condition.

I contacted Asus directly to report what I believe to be a defect. After months of going up the chain of command the only resolution I was offered was that I could PURCHASE new batteries{#emotions_dlg.mad}

The computers still work you just have to keep them plugged in all the time. The second you unplug-it shuts off. I actual removed the battery no point having the weight.

Fortunate for use our Asus is an extra laptop we keep on hand for checking emails and not our primary computers in the house.

Buyer beware!
