Apps for tracking books read

Hi guys. Some time not too long ago there was a discussion about the ipad app 'Notes' and having some notes just disappear. I used 'Notes' to track books read and to keep a compilation of books to read. Well, for the second time, this list has disappeared. Does anyone have an app or some other method of tracking your reading list that you can share? I am really annoyed that this happened a second time. I tried 'Good reads' but it seems that is just for books downloaded there. TIA! LM
