Re: Apple ipad Air and Kindle..humor me...

Yes -  BUT - remember the Kindle is front lit.. all these other devices that run the Kindle app are back lit so there is more glare on your eyes.  That is why you can read on the Kindle much longer without eyestrain.

@LexaMom

I know why I like my paperweight for reading.

I haven’t used my Kindle in years.  I read on my iPhone or one of my iPads with the free Kindle app.  Lots of free reading if you’re a Prime member.  Plus sign up for daily book deals on Early Bird Books and Book Bub.  Both offer books every day very inexpensively & some for free.

I have had a Kindle for years.  I love to read books on it from Amazon.com  .  Recently I purchased an Apple ipad Air.  Will I still be able to read  books on it like I did my Kindle? And if so, how do I prepare my new Apple to receive the books I choose?  Thanks

If you like to read outdoors, don't use your iPad.  The screen has a terrible glare making it almost impossible to see anything.
