App updates for iPod Touch and iPhone

Just learned the hard way, do not accept updates for apps that are for ios 5. Many of these apps will not work in ios 4! The Facebook app does not open, there are many complaints at the app page about this. My ESPN does not open either. My suggestion is to ignore all these updates until ios 5 is released. Some apps are still working with the updates, at this point I will err on the side of caution. I feel bad for people who have older devices, some of which cannot load the latest ios. They may be sol with some of these apps.

This warning probably applies to iPads as well.
