I had to change my tracfone again.  I had an app on my last phone that when a message came the tone kept ringing until I was aware of it.  I can't find that app again.

  Can anyone help me? I know I asked this same question several years ago and someone on this board helped me.

It was so handy as I don't carry my phone with me all the time and check it all the time to see if I have messages.  This was it keeps ringing until I notice it.  Really handy for me.

Without knowing what phone you now have, it's difficult to say, but you should be able to set this under "Messaging".

Open that app, then "settings", then "notification" and you should be able to select the sound you want and whether you want it to continue to sound until you view it.  My phone the LG Ultimate II allows me to set it to repeat every two or five minutes (or not at all).  HTH.

I have the Samsung Galaxy s4 now.  CS is terrible and is of no help.

Try youtube.  Search "Samsung Galaxy s4 message alert".  A tutorial is available. 

On home screen tap "messaging" icon, then tap on "menu" key on bottom left corner, select "settings", scroll down to "message alert repetition", select your choice of intervals,
