Anyone having problems with Hotmail?

I get an error message that says:

:-(

Something went wrong

A server that contains information about your user account and mailbox can't be found.

I'm assuming it's a problem with Hotmail and nothing I did.

Something's going on but I don't know what it may be. It's difficult to sign in with Outlook and this site is very slow.

I thought they were phasing out hotmail. Did that change? I know people who were using hotmail then changed to gmail.

I had fits using my iPad yesterday when on the Q forum in Safari. I got message I've never seen before. It's better today.

A couple of times over the past week I've gotten the Something Went Wrong and the sad face, but then it says something along the lines of I should try refreshing or close my browser and then try again. Not the exact wording but close. Refreshing doesn't do the trick but closing the browser then going to hotmail again works. At least I think that's what I'm doing, I go back to my Yahoo homepage, click on the red X in the upper right hand corner which takes me to I think what's called my desktop, then back to my Yahoo homepage then to Hotmail. Maybe that's not closing your browser but that's what I do. Can you tell I'm computer illiterate? If that's not closing your browser I wish I knew what is. LOL
